Working out is something that keeps my energy levels up and keeps me motivated throughout each week! Having to juggle kids while trying to fit in a workout is sometimes a little difficult, but I have found that working out at home makes it SO much easier. I made it a point to have a dedicated space in our new home so I can just run downstairs and get a quick work out in before my kids wake up each morning. Even if they wake up half way through my workout they know where I am and come and find me. They will just play next to me until I am done! Drew installed a TV in there for me too so I’ll turn on a show for them will I quickly get it done.
For me, working out every morning is my therapy session and I honestly can say by making a habit of it, I look forward to my morning workouts!!
Even if you don’t have a dedicated spot in your house, it is super easy to convert a room or even your garage into a home gym space. I have rounded up all of my must have items for a home gym and I wanted to share them here with you! No matter if you can make it to the gym or not, you can still get those summer workouts in before work or your fun pool day!
