Happy Tuesday, everyone!! Is it just me, or is there SO much do to this time of year with SO little time?! Between getting my Christmas decorations up to shopping for gifts for family and friends, to preparing for holiday parties and everything in-between, I just wish I had more time to do it all!!! So today I'm teaming up with Target to bring you two holiday looks, one day look and one night look, that can be worn all winter long while you're busy crossing off your to-do list!
A couple weekends ago Drew and I packed up the kids for a day in Salt Lake City! One of our favorite things to do, no matter the season, is head downtown and for lunch or shopping or just to walk around as a family. I wanted to dress cute but casual while still being warm. So I layered up with this oversized cardigan and festive checked scarf from Target! And this outfit pairs perfectly with a cute, chunky ankle bootie. If you're headed out for a day of Christmas shopping or running errands, this day look is the way to go. And for all you Utah locals, this look would also be perfect for a night out at Temple Square or Trolley Square to see all the lights! I can't wait to take Isla and Jackson this year; I know Isla will go crazy over all the lights!
For a fancier night out, perhaps a holiday party or family party, dress up in a festive dress like this sleek black one and switch your booties for these feminine, cage heels! One of my very favorite things about the holidays is dressing up for parties. Just ask Drew, I think the holidays are an excuse to add glitter and shimmer to your wardrobe and to mix and match textures, which is why I love this velvet dress from Target! And don't forget a bold, bright lip to finish off your look!
