Earlier this week for family night, Drew and I took Isla and Dash up to Sundance (one of our very favorite spots in Utah). We sat by the fire and drank hot cocoa while Dash rolled around in the snow (and ate it too). Afterward we ate dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in Sundance, The Foundry Grill (if you live in Utah or are visiting you need to go eat there and get their truffle mac and cheese, sooooo good)!
One of the reasons I love Sundance, especially during Christmas, is that you’re surrounded by the most beautiful mountains with snow all around; it's so magical. However, it's always been hard for me to figure out how to look cute and somewhat dressed up (the restaurant is kind of fancy) but still dressed appropriately for snow on the ground and cold temps. I decided to keep it simple and go for a sleek black coat, skinny jeans and these Marc Fisher LTD booties (obsessed with the fringe detail on the side) with bold pops of red. Layering is key!
