Dress: BCBG (love it in this color to) | Earrings: J.Crew | Bracelets: David Yurman | Nail Polish: No Baggage Please by Essie | Lip/Cheek Color: YSL Kiss and Blush #9
I've always been a YSL beauty junkie and if you've been a long-time follower of Pink Peonies you've probably noticed, in the outfit details section, that I wear a YSL lip color almost daily. When YSL announced they were launching a two-in-one product I could hardly wait to get my hands on it and try it out! The Nordstrom Exclusive, Baby Doll Kiss and Blush is an air-whipped mousse for a pop of color not only on your lips but your cheeks too! I first tested out Rose Epicurien and ended up loving it so much I purchased two more shades!
I love the formula because it's buildable (see photo 2) and can be easily rubbed in with your finger. I typically shy away from lip x cheek products because I often find them to be too sticky but Kiss and Blush is the furthest thing from that, it almost feels like velvet on your skin and doesn't dry out your lips or cheeks. Another feature I love is that you can mix and match the shades, a few days ago I wore Rose Epicurien on my cheeks and applied Fuschia Desinvolte to my lips and they complimented each other so well. On Easter morning, I wore Rose Epicurien on both my lips and cheeks for a soft and feminine color that matched my lace dress perfectly.
