Valentine's Day has always been one of my favorite holidays!!! I love having a holiday to celebrate the people and things we love most! When I was younger my mom would always get me and my sisters roses and chocolate covered strawberries, so it always was a special holiday even before I met Drew. This year will be mine and Drew's eighth Valentine's Day together!! Each Valentine's Day looks a little bit different, especially now that we have two babies. They add some craziness to the mix and things aren't always the "picture perfect romantic" Valentine's Day, but he always finds a way to make them special (last year Drew and I just stayed home, played with our babes and after we put them to bed we ordered take out and watched movies in bed. And I loved it!!).
My birthday is right around Valentine's Day so I never really tell him what to get me, it's always a surprise and it's usually some form of jewelry. I've always been a huge fan of stacking my jewelry whether it's stacking multiple rings on one finger or layering different necklaces or pairing several bracelets together, and Drew knows that so he usually gets me a new piece to pair with the other pieces he got me from years previous! LAGOS reached out and wanted to partner on a fun project involving Drew for Valentine's Day! My mom and sister actually have a few LAGOS pieces so I was so excited to finally get some of my own!! Drew got to choose everything out for this project, I didn't see anything and he completely surprised me! I love what he choose, especially the necklace he had engraved with our initials on it! He has pretty good taste (although I have a sneaking suspicion he had help from my sisters).
