Happy Thursday, everyone! I get a lot of questions about how I got into blogging and honestly Utah Valley University is where it all started for me. While attending school there (I studied communications and Photoshop was my very favorite class, so I quickly decided to switch my major to graphic design) I was on the competitive dance team and it's also the place where I met my husband. So you could say UVU holds a special place in my heart! It was around this same time that I first discovered my love and passion for blogging and I decided to transition my blog from a daily journal to a fashion outlet, Pink Peonies.
Earlier this year UVU asked me to speak to their students as part of their Career Lecture Series and I had so much fun being back where it all started! I'm so honored that they not only asked me to speak, but that they also wanted to do a feature on me for UVU Magazine. I'll be forever grateful to UVU for assisting me develop my own strengths, talents and interests and to follow my dreams!
