Today I thought it would be fun to share my 5 most used items this month! We woke up to a snow storm a few days ago so instead of shooting my outfit of the day (I didn't change out of my sweats, I was too cold!!) I decided to shoot my recent favorite products!
° Rainbow Do-A-Dot Markers: I posted about these on my Instastory last week and got SO many questions about them!!! They will honestly keep both of my kids (and me) entertained for a good hour or two. I try to limit screen time so this is a fun activity to do with your babes and get their motor skills and creativity moving! There is something so satisfying about pressing the dot marker on the paper haha! I'm obsessed!
° J.Crew earrings: These earrings are probably my most worn earring right now. Statement earrings like these are SOOO in for spring! Perfect for spring and summer outfits! They're from J.Crew and they're over 70% off right now (only a few left!!!). They're classic and add a playful statement to any outfit.
° "The Day The Crayons Quit" book: Reading a bedtime story (or two) to our kids was something that Drew and I both really wanted to get in the habit of when we first became parents. We started from the time Isla Rose was baby so luckily we are in a great habit and do it every night. Right now this is the book of choice for my babes. The first time I read it to them I found myself just as into the book as they were! It's such clever and creative story line!!
° Beauty Bioscience: The Protector: My good friend Jamie O'Banion has the most incredible skin I've ever seen. I asked her what her biggest skincare tip is, especially for women in their late 20's, and her response was... sunscreen!!!!! It's preventative and protects your skin. I have been using the Protector religiously since October. Literally, I wear it everyday. I moisturize, then put on my protector. It acts as my primer before I apply my foundation! She owns one of the most successful skincare lines in the world and she said there's no need for a higher more powerful sunscreen than SPF 30.
° Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri: I've been using this stuff for YEARS and it's still to this day one of my very favorite products ever! I'm a busy mom of 2, I run two businesses, I'm in the process of building and moving into my new home and office space... what I'm trying to say is I wish I had time to go to the salon and get a mani-pedi, but I just don't. I have to prioritize my time and going to the nail salon every few weeks isn't in the cards for me right now. Maybe one day, but not now. Ever since I had Jackson I do my manicures and pedicures myself and I use the Insta-Dry so I can quickly paint and then get right back to my babes. I couldn't sit and wait an hour for regular nail polish to fully dry. The Sally Hansen is still the best quick dry I've found.
