To kick off Joss & Main's "Design Duos" campaign, my sister Emily and I have teamed up to design and furnish our outdoor living spaces! We live across the street from each other and both recently built our homes so we are no strangers to helping each other select finishes and furniture for our homes. While we were both building, Emily and I would stay up until all hours of the night and talk interior design. It's been fun to work on a project with her again and bounce ideas off each other. Drew and I spend so much time in our backyard, especially during the summer, so it was important to create an outdoor living space that was comfortable, inviting and made us feel like our backyard was an extension of our home.
The exterior of our home was inspired by French architecture and design so when I was selecting pieces from Joss & Main for the space, I wanted to make sure the furniture reflected the french flare and I'm so happy with the way it turned out! A few of my favorite details of the space are the silk peonies and the french blue pillows that tie in with my windows. Joss & Main had so many great furniture and accessory options to choose from that it was hard to narrow it down, but everything turned out perfectly!
