If Charleston, South Carolina isn't on your travel bucket list, you need to add it!I had the wonderful opportunity to stay at The Charleston Place Hotel and loved every minute of my stay! I decided to shoot the RP spring collection in Charleston, and it was such a dream. The hotel is located in the most charming, picturesque part of Charleston's Historic District.
From the moment I checked in, the hotel staff was so hospitable and welcoming! When I got to my room, I was surprised with a delicious display of chocolate covered strawberries and macarons.
The first day I arrived, my team and I had some time to walk around. I was so thrilled to discover some of the best shopping and dining in Charleston was all walkable from The Charleston Place Hotel! Not to mention, there's a Louis Vuitton store INSIDE the hotel! If you know me, you know from that alone that this was the perfect hotel for me!
The next morning, before we left to shoot the RP Spring Collection, we had a nice complimentary breakfast in the lounge on our floor. This was a life saver for us since we were there for such a short time and had a packed schedule. We were able to jump out of bed, walk upstairs have a nice breakfast and save time!
We had such a great day shooting, and the whole time we were less than 10 minutes away from our hotel. I couldn't believe how lucky we got with all of our gorgeous locations! After a long day of shooting, we were ready to eat! We changed and went right downstairs to the Thoroughbred Club for appetizers and Diet Cokes. Our waiter, Darryl was the best and kept us laughing the whole time!
Overall, I had such an amazing stay, and I already want to go back! I definitely want to do more sight seeing and shopping, because I just couldn't get enough of the charming town of Charleston! I cannot recommend The Charleston Place Hotel enough. The service is incredible, the location can't be beat, the rooms, and the atmosphere are stunning, and the dining options located in the hotel are amazing. There's seriously nothing this hotel is missing and I would stay again and again!
