I am sure you have seen my IG stories lately that show the Green Drink that my kids and I drink in the morning. I try and make it everyday because it’s such an easy way to get our greens and healthy nutrients into our bodies. I always feel like the best mom when I see Isla Rose and Jackson drinking their green drinks!!
Since I get a lot of questions about my green drinks, I decided to put the recipe on my blog so you ladies can easily access it!! Im going to give you my version I consistently make for myself and a few other versions that taste a little bit better. For me, it’s all about getting the greens in so I don’t add a lot of fluff, but if you want your kids to drink or if you have a hard time downing veggies add these that will help with taste!!
Original Green Drink Recipe:
1 cup Water or Almond Milk (I use water)
Large Handful of Spinach
1/2 of a Banana (I like to refrigerate mine, makes it more creamy)
1 TBS Chia Seeds
Add 1/4 cup orange juice
Add a handful of blueberries or strawberries
Replace the almond butter with natural peanut butter
Use a full banana (will mask the spinach flavor)
Add your protein powder
