There is something so magical about a London garden. Over the last year, I've begun collecting home and garden books to place around my home. Through burying my nose in these books, I've become completely inspired by English gardens. While Drew and I were designing our backyard, I drew inspiration from various gardens in England, particularly gardens located near London. When Nordstrom asked if I would participate in the 'My Burberry' launch on nordstrom.com I immediately got giddy and gave a big YES!!! Because well, it's Burberry, I've been such a fan of the brand since highschool, but it wasn't until I read the story of the fragrance when I really fell in love with the scent and grew even more excited to share it with all of you!
'My Burberry' draws inspiration from London gardens, specifically, a London garden after the rain. Something so majestic comes to mind when I envision this scene, the scent truly brings it to life. One of my favorite features of the fragrance is that it can be worn any time - day or night. It's casual yet dressy, classic yet modern.
The iconic Burberry Trench was another form of inspiration for the fragrance. I've been dreaming of owning a Burberry trench for years, and when I read that the fragrance was patterned after the classic trench, I decided it was time to invest! The trench really pulled together my initial vision for this post.
