I had lots of questions about miss Isla Rose’s curls yesterday so I thought I would share how I did them and my favorite products I use on her gorgeous golden hair!
I use the Paul Mitchell curling wand, with the skinniest attachment and wrap in a spiral motion, away from her face.
I let her curls set for 10 minutes before I and brush through it using this comb. To finish I add a little shine serum and spray with Oribe finishing spray.
My favorite products to use on Isla Rose's Hair:
Spray Bottle: Aside from when I curl her hair with a wand, I always wet her hair and curls before I do any hairstyle. Even if I’m just leaving it down. I can style it easier and it finishes nicer when it’s wet.
Brush: this is the brush I use to get through her tangles. It’s specifically made for tangles and is the only one I can use on her, she cries with any other brush.
Detangler: this helps me get me through the tangles too. It smells like pink sugar!! I never not have a bottle of this in my drawer- Must have!
Hairspray and Shine Serum: Love these products. Use both to finish off both mine and Isla Rose’s hairstyles.
Clear Elastics: I always have these on hand to do buns, pig tails, braids, etc. they hold her hair the best and they aren’t seen once they’re in so they look the best too!
Combs: I use this comb to doing parting her hair (pig tails, pony tails, buns). I use this comb to brush out curls (also use it on my curls too).
Smoothing Brush: I use this one for slicking her hair into any type of pony tail, pig tails, buns or half-up. It smoothes the hair down perfectly into place, way better than a wet brush could. I also use this brush when I’m doing my hair in a pony to smooth it down and for Jackson’s hair.
