My mom gave me a piece of furniture she doesn't use anymore and I wanted to give it a little personality before I put it in my house. I googled tutorials on how to refinish furniture, read over a couple and then started to paint!

I found this gem at hobby lobby for originally $10.00 but got it on sale for $5.00!! My dad would be so proud ;)


This project was WAY easier then I anticipated. I was a little intimidated to try it but so glad I did! If your thinking of repainting furniture do it! It's so fun and easy :)
The tutorials I found were not very good so here is a tutorial of how I made-over this over (for re-painting, not re-staining)
You'll need:
*Sand paperbuy Zinsser
*Primer (I used Zinsser, non-oil based and found it at Lowes)
*Desired paint color (I used Valspar paint found at Lowes)
*Glaze, only if you want an antique look (I used
