Today I’m sharing another holiday ready look that would be perfect for either hosting or attending a Christmas party! I love how simple yet striking this dress from Nordstrom is. The bold red hue paired with the fitted silhouette instantly makes a statement when you walk into a room. Drew doesn’t usually comment on my outfit choices but he gave this dress two thumbs up ;)!

In my recent posts I’ve had a lot of reader questions about which pieces I’m wearing are maternity so for those wanting to know, this dress is not a maternity dress but still totally works with or without a bump.

Happy Tuesday, have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

  1. Absolutely gorgeous! What a beautiful shade of red, and such a flattering cut (and I think it looks even better with the baby bump!).
And that tree is so beautiful – mine feels a bit bare in comparison!

  2. You are so making me want to go out and find a red dress for upcoming holiday parties! Once again I love this look! Thanks for Sharing. also on scale of 1-10 how comfortable are your Louboutins?

  3. It’s the best time of year for red dresses!! They are my favorite replacement for the LBD during the holidays, and look good whether you are blonde, brunette, tanned, or pale!! Also – love that you’re sporting a regular dress with your bump. I hope I never have to wear maternity and can keep wearing my regular wardroe when I decide to have kids! <3

  4. Rachel,
This look is amazing!! Could I ask where you got your Christmas tree from? We are building a house with lots of white & grey accents, I would love a Christmas tree like this!
    Thank you so much!

  5. Definitely look to some of the other fashion bloggers who have been pregnant. It’s always seen as putting your hands above and below your belly as a fear of looking fat when you are pregnant. There isn’t any need for it. Everybody knows you’re pregnant and not fat, your legs and arms would give it away. So experiment!
