I've always been a big believer that women need to support each other, and that we can inspire and empower other women around them to do the same. Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to co-host a HIGH fitness class on International Women's Day, and oh my gosh it was amazing!!! Definitely a night I'll always remember (you might've seen me post about it on my IG stories, it was a party!). I knew I wanted to do something to celebrate women everywhere on this special day, and I wanted to plan an event that allowed women in my community to come to get their sweat on and be inspired to reach for their goals! You all know that health and working out has become a true passion of mine over the last year, so this event was the perfect way to end International Women's Day, being enlightened by a room full of energetic and enthusiastic women!
Today, I'm excited to be partnering with Secret to promote their Clinical Strength line. I grew up using Secret deodorant, it's been a staple in my drawer since I was in middle school, so I was excited when they reached out! I love that their brand champions feminine strength. Their mission is to encourage women everywhere to stop settling and to reach higher, and they are asking women to hold their deodorant to the same high standards they hold everything else to in life! Ask anyone who knows me, I'm typically terrified of big social events so hosting this HIGH fitness night on International Women's Day was an opportunity for me to reach higher and reach outside of my comfort zone and connect with women who I may not have before.
I feel honored to be a woman and to be able to do so many things that I love on a daily basis: be a mom to my babies, a wife, a sister, a daughter and a friend, a business owner in a female dominated industry and employer of incredibly talented and hard working women. I aspire to follow my dreams and am constantly challenging myself to do more and be more, especially when it comes to my kids. A lot of times, I'm running from the gym, home to babies, then carpools and then off to meetings.
