  3. Rach, what are you doing to me?! I’m completely addicted to your style! That coat looks so amazing! I love brights like this. It’s so cheery and fun! I think you have a better wardrobe than most celebrities. I seriously wouldn’t be surprised if you become a celebrity stylist one day! Xx

  4. Hope you are enjoying my hometown. Central park is one of the my favorite places. Probably very different from a ‘park’ in Utah but we NYCers are very in love with it. If you are still in town I highly HIGHLY recommend City Bakery – it has the WORLD’S BEST hot chocolate (and I have tried my fair share around the world). And Feb is their Hot Choc month so they always have cool flavors.

Have a safe trip home and happy Vday.

  5. Dear Rachel,
I can’t believe how many comments you have today already!!! I sincerely get so excited when I see your daily email in my inbox and I can’t wait to see what you are wearing and your pictures are always so pretty! I don’t know if you remember me, but I contacted you via email in September last year asking you a few questions about blogging. At the time it was only a thought, and when you emailed me back it turned into an idea, and then I actually made my first post 1/26/13 on mapleleafstreet.com. I love Fall, I love Maple trees, I love the color of maple leaves in the Fall, I have 3 Maples planted in my front yard, and my little town has a big annual Maple Leaf Festival, so the blog name was born. Blogging has made me better at my full-time job, it has made me feel more inspired and interesting, it’s brought fashion to a higher level in my life, and overall, I am so happy I did it. I wanted you to know that had I not first seen you on Pinterest and started following your blog, I don’t know if I would have started mine. I wanted to let you know that and I hope if makes you feel like what your doing really matters, because it does! I hope to one day meet you in person!
    Warmest Regards,
Carrie Barth – Maple Leaf Street

    1. Carrie,

That is so inspirational and so wonderful! I feel the same way about Rachel and The Pink Peonies. I also began my blog chicsaturday.com after speaking with Rachel about it all. She is a sweetheart and I’m so glad to see how many women she touches with her work. I will certainly stop by your blog. It sounds so sweet!

      Wishing you all the best,
      Kelly from chic Saturday

  8. Wow! You are amazing at selecting a bright color and pairing it with neutrals, or other pops
of bright color for a fun look.

The J-Crew coat you’re wearing is a beautiful shade, and I love the little bows along the buttons.

One more bit: Your photographer is awesome! Your photos are so clear, please tell me what
kind of camera you’re using. I’m definitely looking into buying a new camera, as the one
I own now is about 4 years old. Time for an upgrade! :]
