The J.Crew Presentation was absolutely stunning. Bold prints, colors, textures and embellishments made for a unique and stunning collection, while still keeping J.Crew’s classic aesthetic. Gear up ladies, it’s going be a very colorful 2013 winter! Below are a few favorites from the presentation…

Happy Monday, thanks for reading!!

  1. Love the colorful outfits for next Winter. We could all use a bit more color during those dreary months. Love your outfit. Lucky gal to have gone to J Crew’s show.

  2. Love the butterfly blouse- you pull it off well. I’m always weary to wear prints like butterflies, hearts, stars etc- for fear of looking to childlike.

    Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. Finally, some good shots of the J Crew presentation! I love your look here, Rachel. Whenever I visit your blog I also open up my “blogger inspo” folder on my desktop because I know without looking that your outfit will be worth saving.

  4. I guess I don’t understand the fashion world — at all — but I felt very badly for all of the models. I know modeling is something they chose to do and maybe they are giddy on the inside, but I couldn’t help but notice that not one girl, no matter how beautiful, looked happy. I’ve seen brief glimpses of runway models from commercials and I know smiling isn’t part of the runway show, but seeing such unhappy faces makes the clothing extremely unappealing to me. I’m not trying to offend you or anyone else, I’m just blown away at how unhappy these girls look. Are they not supposed to smile *because* it would be a distraction from the clothes? Am I the only one who wonders any of this? :)

    1. This is the first thing I noticed too!! Such unhappy looks…I agree with you, if they had smiles on their faces, the clothing would look much more appealing. So no, you are not the only one who wonders this! ;)
