Get the look: for under $150…

Picture Via
I came across this picture on, of course, Pinterest and loved the look. It’s casual, comfy but cute and dressed up all at the same time.
I loved the look even more because I already owned the skirt!
Here is my recreation of this look with links included so you too can get this comfy, dressed up look
that doesn’t break the bank!!
**note: if link says similar style, it is not the same item photographed
for my exact boots click here {these boots are not included in the get the look for $150 but they are on sale so I
 thought I would link them up for those interested in them, if not, below are killer boots that are very similar!}
Sweater: J.Crew Factory {open online Fri-Sun} similar style here $59.90
Skirt: F21 $7.80 {I bought mine in a large for extra length}
Socks: Nordstrom $10.00
Boots: Similar style here Nordstrom {50% off} $84.90 {I love these boots, the color and gold accents
 are similar to my boots photographed+they are a fraction of the price, and then some}
Necklace: similar style here F21 $5.80

It’s a little over $150.. I’m about $18.00 off, the total comes to $168.40 but I’d say I’m close enough.
and the skirt is a steal!!

Hooray for great fashion and small prices!

  1. Great job! I think I like your dark socks better than gray ones I wore. I bought my skirt in Large too for the same reason lol
    Love your sweater. I bought a similar one at Target yesterday (it’s not a sweater more of a sweatshirt with sequins).

  2. Hey Girl! Love the look. May I ask how tall you are? I’d love to get the skirt but I’d like to get an idea of what size I need to buy to make it a knee length. Is the waist significantly larger in the large?

  3. Thanks everyone for sweet comments. :)

    Laura-the $84 boots are not the boots that are pictured on me in the post but there are both links to mine and to the pair that’s $84

    Cha Lynn-I’m 5’6 and the waist is larger but I wear it low on my hips so it works for me, if your planning on wearing it as a high-waisted skirt the waist might be too big.

  4. Love your blog! I like this look. I love all your styles- my question is : where do you go all dressed up to all the time? I have some great fun outfits but I feel that other than a super nice dinner I don’t have many places to wear them.

    You should do a post about yourself- so we can relate to you. How tall are you? etc. Things maybe we don’t know about you! Love other bloggers who are genuine. Great blog! You can make me over any day! =)

    Tasha!
